I Don't Care What Anyone Says Anymore...

Okay. Sorry if this offends anybody, but I am in a very angry and very stubborn mood right now. I have been conversing with a friend who has pushed me to my limit, and I need to let stuff out NOW...

Here are a few things I believe that may seem... controversial... to some people. Some of them are parts of Mormon doctrine, some aren't. Even Mormons are allowed to have their own ideas about eternal things. God doesn't tell us EVERYTHING. So please don't assume that ALL Mormons believe these things.
I don't care what anyone says. I don't care if I lose friends or popularity. Those things are not worth having if I cannot believe what I do. Don't bother commenting. You will not convince me otherwise. I am not trying to convince anybody to join my church, and I'm not going to think lower of anybody who doesn't believe what I do, but everyone's got their opinions, and these are mine:

1. There IS a heaven and there IS a hell. There IS a God and there IS a Satan. They need to exist. Both of them do. There must be opposition in all things.
2. God follows LAWS. He cannot break those laws. Some of the laws he follows are the laws of agency and the law of obedience. If God did not follow laws, he would cease to be God.
3. People have control of their own destiny. God may know how things are going to turn out, but WE don't, and we need to continue to strive for more, because all of us have the potential to be more than we are.
4. As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become. That means God was once like us. He went through the process, and he gained eternal glory. If we obey his commandments, if we perform the correct ordinances (i.e. baptism and celestial marriage), and if we endure, we can become like him. That means we will be able to have families forever. Have our own children, and make our own worlds.
5. Those who do not do those things will not receive all of God's glory. There needs to be a consequence of their actions and decisions. This means not everyone will be exaulted. They may receive a PORTION of God's glory, but not all of it. Of course, there are exceptions: Children younger than eight, people who do not have mental capacity to understand these things, or people who died without a knowledge of these things but would have received them if they did gain a knowledge.
6. Drinking coffee, tea, or alcohol is WRONG.
7. Taking the Lord's name in vain is WRONG.
8. Having sex before marriage, or with someone besides your marital spouse, is WRONG.
9. Homosexual relationships are WRONG. People who are born with such physical desires need to GET OVER THEM. YOU CANNOT GET TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE OF HEAVEN IF YOU CANNOT SIMPLY BRIDLE YOUR PASSIONS!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
10. Abortion is WRONG. It is MURDER. Any woman who has conceived a child due to her own personal choices has NO RIGHT to KILL an innocent spirit. NO RIGHT!
11. DIVORCE has become too much of a luxury. There are better ways to deal with familial problems. There is no need for divorce if you are a family that is close to God and following his commandments.
12. I DO believe that six hundred years ago, indigenous American peoples lived here and believed in Jesus Christ. I also believed that some of these peoples were "cursed" with dark skin when they did not follow God's commandments. This does not mean that I believe that those who are not white are bad people. God needed a way to separate the righteous from the wicked, and this was a simple way for him to do it. Later on, the dark-skinned peoples would become more righteous than the light-skinned peoples. Race does not matter with God and should not matter with us.
13. A WOMAN'S PRIMARY and DIVINE ROLE in this life is to BEAR AND NURTURE CHILDREN. A MAN'S PRIMARY and DIVINE ROLE in this life is to hold the LORD'S PRIESTHOOD!! This does not mean that women are inferior to men. This does not mean that women should not pursue knowledge, strength, or freedom. It simply means that FAMILY IS IMPORTANT, and if women do not fulfill their calling, the family unit is threatened. If men fail to fulfill their priesthood callings, then the Lord's church is threatened.
14. Yes, a fourteen-year-old boy DID go into a grove of trees, and he DID see God and Jesus Christ, and he DID translate an ancient record on gold plates. This man was a prophet of the lord.
15. yes, I believe EVERYTHING those old guys who talk to us via satellite twice a year say.
16. GOD HAS A BODY OF FLESH AND BONES. JESUS CHRIST IS A SEPARATE BEING FROM GOD AND ALSO HAS A BODY OF FLESH AND BONES. THE HOLY GHOST IS YET ANOTHER SEPARATE ENTITY WITHOUT A BODY OF FLESH AND BONES. THEY ARE SEPARATE IN BODY, BUT ONE IN PURPOSE!!
17. Faith without works is dead. Yes, we must believe, but true belief -- true faith -- involves action. No, we do not get to heaven by works alone, but we don't get in just by saying "I believe" either. It involves improvement and endurance and relying on the atonement of Jesus Christ.
18. I believe that part of obeying God's commandments is obeying the law of the land.
19. I don't care whether or not God created man out of monkeys. He created us some way or another. Personally, I would not be surprised if God used the laws of evolution to create us. But whatever happened, Adam did exist and he WAS tempted by satan.
20. God loves me. He loves everyone, regardless of race, background, or previous sin. He is willing to forgive anyone who asks for it. He answers every single person's prayers. Christ atoned for EVERYONE. There is no doubt in my mind that this is true.
