The Mummy III

Last night I saw the movie premere of "The Mummy III: The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor."

I saw it with Destiny, Thunderchild, The Frog, Mr. BendyFlex, and a host of others.

It was okay. I feel a little silly because I dozed off near the beginning. The part after the street scene and before they make it to this snowy place where Yettis live. But I stayed awake for the rest of it.

It was a typical action movie. The men were cute, the women were seductive, and the villians were highly CG. I guess I haven't seen the Mummy or The Mummy II, but even the others, who had seen the previous movies, said it was not as good. And I would probably agree. It's not the best movie ever made. A bit cliche and there was too much action and not enough talk for me.

But the plot about China was cool and interesting. I always liked learning about history, and this is kind of a fun way to do it. Besides, it was fun being with my friends that I hadn't seen in a while.

Oh, speaking of friends, Mr. Bendy Flex and Destiny broke up. Apparently she broke up with him. The sad thing was she broke up with him when he stopped by her house with a boquet of flowers... That was my idea for him to do that. I feel so bad. Well, the breakup would have happened anyway, but at least I'd have nothing to do with it... I feel bad for him because I think a long, steady relationship is something he feels he needs. At college, I'm sure he'll find someone new, and really, I think they were growing tired of each other anyway. They're still friends! That's a good thing.... But I'm sure their friendship will never be the same...
