Okay... so I FINALLY finished "Gone With The Wind" during my family trip... now onto something different... very different.
So I liked the Stephanie Meyer "Twilight" series (more about them later), so I thought I'd take a whack at Stephanie's other novel she's written called "The Host."
I'm on chapter 3... or maybe 4... I can't remember. It's very VERY boring, so far. Just people talking. No action, no suspense. It's basically about some alien soul species that takes over people's bodies. I am reminded of the Animorphs series as I read this. Except it's for a much more mature audience. Anyway, I'm bored out of my mind as I read this book, but everyone says it's slow getting into. Once I get past the beginning, they say, I'll not want to put it down. I sure hope so. I've never really finished a book feeling disappointed, but thus far that's how I'm feeling about this one.
